Sungroup Game

Our advance project game was spent a long time to complete. My part was doing all 3D Ship Modelling and most parts of the textures.

Those two are our game's introduction.

Those two are level one and level two ship models, and people can see they are low polies models because those models are for game. All the people know we cannot use the high poly models in game otherwise, the game will be easy to crash.

This is the fire ship: it can shoot fire balls and have explode effect after collision.

This is the ice ship: it shoots the ice ball and make the enemy ships become slower.

This is the canon ship: this ship just shoot the canon ball and has the same effect in the real world.

This is the arrow ship: arrow ship shoots the arrows and donot have the special effects in the game.

 This is the money ship: money ship is a very important ship at the begining of the game because it can produce the money every a few seconds.

 This is the poision ship: this ship can shoot the green balls and make the enemies keep losing their lives.

Those six ships were I made in the 3D Max models. Those different ships have different effects and functions in the game as well.  And those pictures were rendered in the 3D max. Then add some textures and effect to pictures. So these ship icons come out after those steps.

And for the game players, before they use those function ships they have to unlock those ships first.

Those four are the skill tree pictures and those are the lock ships what the players have to use the money to unlock them.

There are still some pieces of the stuffs in the game, such as the buttons, mouse icons, and explanations for those ships, and also they are different effect pictures.

Mouse icon in our game, it's simple, clear and match our game.

This is our game name and also the logo in the game I think.

This is the hint bar that spark every a few seconds and it tells the players can press space button to start the TD game.
This game is a lot of works for me and our groups, we spend all time to fix the game when we met the problems. It's so tired, but I feel good when completed our jobs.

I often do some 3D modelling practices by using 3D Max. This is a glass tree I did today.

This is our group's animation what we did in the advanced diploma second semester. Our group name is sungroup, it includes Golf, Charlie who come from Thailand, and me, Patrick, there is another guy, Jie, but he most part is doing the game codings and  both of us from China.
From the story to the final animation, all of us work very hard because there are so many works to do in this semester. But finally we almost finish our animation, though there are still some problems.
This animation was made for our Tower Defence game, it include beginning animation, win scene and lose scene. And following is our animation showing:

This story talks about one day, a Pirate leader saw a beutiful Mermaid and he fell love with her, and the Mermaid said she maight give him one chance if he can give her an apple. So after that the Pirate leader sailed his ship to look for the apple. Meanwhile, the Government leader wanted to produce one special food, the Mermaid food, to sell to the nobles. So he sent a fleet to look for Mermaids himself. One day he found a Mermaid that the previous one the Pirate leader love to when the Pirate leader came back after he found the apple. But when the Pirate leader came to the previous rocks the Mermaid already be caught by the Government leader. So the Pirate leader is very sad because he thought the Mermaid didn't love him and went away. But one of his soilders found one can what had the details of the Mermaid Factory when the Pirate leader cried. So the Pirate leader knew what might be happen when he looked for the apple, and he went to the factory and rescued the Mermaid. The Government was sleep when the Pirate leader went to the Factory and rescued the Mermaid. But it is not a long time because the noise waked him up and he saw what's happened. He was so angry that he never though one Pirate can get one Mermaid in his hand. So he sent a much bigger fleet to catch them.

(After the animation, the TD game should be beginning but I can't show the game here.)

Win scene:

The Pirate leader and Mermaid married each other after the Mermaid Island Defense. And they have a lot of babies as well.

Lose scene:

They lose their battle in the Mermaid Island, so the Government leader eat the Mermaid food and the Pirate leader was in the cage.

There is one package for the final Mermaid can:
